Food Sector Standards Developments: New FSSC Scheme Workshops

The new FSSC 22000 scheme marks a major step closer towards a single, internationally accredited and recognised food safety standard. It combines the ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management standard with the new ISOTS 22002 - part 1. The scheme has recently been approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) who are an organisation committed to benchmarking food safety management schemes throughout the food supply chain to gain a common acceptance of GFSI recognised standards by retailers around the world.
