But as with any public spectacle of this kind, safety and reliability are of vital importance. And this is where Bureau Veritas made its theatrical debut in London. Applying the same stringent principals it uses all over the world in verifying lifting equipment, the complex mechanical “secrets” of the flying car had to be inspected regularly. We made sure that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was a soaring success at every performance. |
